We are currently recruiting for a Casual Kitchen Porter to join our team at Rhode House in Oxford.

Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who value great food as a key part of their culture and community. Our work spans office restaurants, independent schools, and conference venues, maintaining a high-end ethos throughout.

We are looking for a positive, honest, and reliable employee to join our friendly and hardworking team. We offer good training and prospects within our team for the right candidate.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in a similar role and environment
• Highly organized and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment
• High standards of food hygiene and adherence to health and safety rules
• Maintain hygiene standards and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
• Excellent customer service and social skills
• Responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
• Can-do attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
• Customer-focused
• Basic food knowledge
• Willing to participate and enjoy working as part of the team
• Day-to-day management of the kitchen porter area, including stock control and basic organizational skills
• Basic kitchen prep skills are highly desirable
• Highly organized and comfortable working in a busy kitchen
• Responsible for the wash-up area, working in a tidy and efficient manner
• Responsible for putting away deliveries
