Job summary

Millennium Hotels UK is seeking a Casual Housekeeping Assistant at Copthorne Newcastle to clean guest rooms, replenish amenities and contribute to a superb guest experience on an on-site basis in Newcastle upon Tyne.

You will work as required, supporting the housekeeping team with daily tasks, deep cleans and ensuring facilities are maintained to brand standards. Training and development opportunities are available within the Millennium Hotels & Resorts group.

Qualifications

• Employee must be able to clean guest bedrooms and common areas to high standards.
• Ability to replenish amenities and support housekeeping tasks.
• Be environmentally aware and handle guest requests promptly.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors.
• Change and replenish bed linen, towels and amenities.
• Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks as required.
• Ensure equipment in guest rooms and work areas is in working condition.
• Carry out general hotel cleaning duties as required.

The Copthorne Newcastle is looking for a Casual Housekeeping Assistant who will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and replenishing amenities to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is offered at all times, in line with our core values and standards, and that guests' expectations are exceeded.

Housekeeping Assistant will:

• Clean guest bedrooms, bathrooms and vacuum rooms and corridors
• Change and replenish bed linen, towels, and guest amenities in line with company guidelines.
• Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
• Ensure that all equipment inside and around Guest rooms as well as in work areas and used when performing housekeeping responsibilities is in working condition
• Be environmentally aware
• Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Carry out general hotel cleaning duties as required
