Job summary

Langshott Manor Hotel is seeking a Casual Housekeeping Assistant to maintain high standards in guest bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas, including turndown duties. The role offers daytime shifts roughly 9am to 3:30pm, up to 3–4 days per week, with weekend work required.

You should be detail-oriented, enthusiastic about cleaning, and methodical in routines. The position includes an additional monthly service charge payment based on hours worked.

Responsibilities

• Working between 9/9.30am and 3.30/4pm – up to 3 or 4 days per week if you wish
• Changing bed linen daily in all guest bedrooms
• Cleaning guest bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas
• Ensuring all corridors are clean and tidy and any dirty linen is returned to the laundry before the end of the shift
• Returning to complete evening housekeeping (Turndown) duties a few evenings per week if you are available

Up to £14.24 per hour including holiday pay, age related pay applies to this role.

The Role

An energetic worker is required, with a good eye for detail to ensure excellent standards of cleanliness in guest bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas of the hotel. A turndown evening service is also offered which ensures that all guest bedrooms are well presented ready for the guest return in the evening.
