Glasgow Marriott Hotel in Glasgow is seeking a reliable Casual Housekeeper to join our busy team. This flexible role is ideal for someone available during mid-week daytime shifts, with additional hours offered as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability, particularly mid-week (Mon–Fri daytime).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to brand standards.
• Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish amenities.
• Vacuum, dust, polish, and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or lost property.
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to meet daily targets.

Our housekeeping team plays a key role in delivering a great guest experience by ensuring every room is clean, comfortable, and ready for arrival. The Role

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Housekeeper to join our team. This is a flexible role, ideal for someone available during mid-week daytime shifts, with additional hours available based on business needs.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to brand standards
• Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish amenities
• Vacuum, dust, polish, and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or lost property
• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
• Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to meet daily targets

What We’re Looking For

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hotel experience is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness

• Flexible availability, particularly mid-week (Monday-Friday daytime)

Additional Information

This role involves physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Full training will be provided.
