Walsall Council seeks enthusiastic, adaptable Casual Food Preparation Assistants to support school meal production and delivery across the borough.
Role involves general kitchen duties, including cleaning of equipment, with flexible hours between 10:00am and 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time. A non-contractual basis with 'as and when needed' allocation and the Essential Food Hygiene Certificate is required or to be pursued.
We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable team members to assist in the production and delivery of school meals across the borough. The casual food preparation assistant post is of a non-contractual basis and work will be allocated on an 'as and when needed' basis, to cover annual leave and sickness, therefore hours are not guaranteed.
In line with FSA guidance and due to the identifiable health and safety risks involved, there is a requirement to undertake a pre-employment health questionnaire prior to commencing kitchen duties.
