As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the Catering Manager/Cook in Charge in the day-to-day operation of a busy school kitchen. You will assist with food preparation, serving meals, cleaning, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times.
No extensive catering experience is required as training will be provided, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to excellent customer service are essential.
Actual Salary: £9,902 per annum. This salary is based on working 16 hours 15 minutes per week and 39 weeks per year, rather than a full-time role of 37 hours per week and 52 weeks per year.
Please note: The salary shown assumes a start date of 1 September. If you start after 1 September, your salary for your first school year will be lower than the amount shown above because you will work fewer weeks.
