Job summary

NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking a Blood Donation Team Assistant (Bank) to support donor centres on a casual, as-needed basis. You will help welcome donors and assist with after-donation refreshments, with training provided.

Hours are variable and can include daytimes, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You can choose the days you work to fit around your availability. No medical background required, just a friendly, flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Experience of dealing with the public.
• Good numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Cover the after-donation refreshments area at a static donor centre and undertake other duties as required for that donor centre.
• This is a casual hour's contract role with flexible days, including evenings and Bank Holidays.
