Job summary

SEC Food, a Levy UK brand and official catering partner of the Scottish Event Campus, seeks a Conference & Exhibition Supervisor to support the C&E operations at SEC venues. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining standards, and guiding a team through high-profile events across venues such as the OVO Hydro, SEC Centre, and Armadillo.

Qualifications

• Industry experience: minimum of 3 years in hospitality, with exposure to conference or retail environments.
• Leadership: demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Customer service focus: proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and handling inquiries.
• Regulatory compliance: understanding of local food and beverage regulations and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility: willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operations Support: assist in smooth daily operations, including opening/closing, cleanliness, and organisation.
• Customer Service: lead teams to ensure positive outcomes on large-scale events and enhance client relations.
• Staff Supervision: supervise and support C&E staff, train new team members, and foster teamwork.
• Health, Safety and Environment: maintain safe/clean work environment and participate in HSE training.
