Job summary

Sense in Swansea is seeking a Casual Community Support Worker to join a small team, providing cover for staff absence and holiday leave. Shifts are typically Monday to Friday, 10am–5pm, with occasional weekend cover to suit client needs.

Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose.We're looking for a Casual Community Support Worker to join a small team in Swansea, providing cover for staff absence and holiday leave as and when needed. Shifts are typically between Monday and Friday, 10am to 5pm, with occasional weekend cover to suit individual client needs.

There's no personal care or medication involved in this role, it's about getting out into the community and building positive relationships while supporting people to do the things they enjoy. Pay is £13.00 per hour.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as travel between clients is part of the role. BSL is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for someone who is:

• A good communicator and genuine people person
• Flexible and able to adapt to different client needs
• Reliable, with availability to cover shifts as needed
• A confident driver with access to their own vehicle

This role might include supporting people with:

• Community activities of their own choosing
• Building positive, trusting relationships
• Getting out and about, staying active and engaged
• Free enhanced DBS check
• Flexible working and family friendly policies
