Job summary

Harri is recruiting for a kitchen-based role within a world-leading hotel brand, operating on a casual basis with flexible hours. You will prepare ingredients, cook according to recipes, and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The role involves working with ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers to deliver quality meals.

Qualifications

• Related work experience: at least 1 year.
• No license or certification required.
• Casual hours with flexibility across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning and storing.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Prepare cold foods.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Test foods to ensure proper cooking.
• Monitor food quality during preparation.
• Set up and break down work stations.
• Serve food in proper portions.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools and equipment.
• Check temperature of appliances and food.
