Job summary

Queen Mary's College in Basingstoke is seeking Casual Mini Bus Drivers to safely transport students and staff between campus and various locations. The role supports school trips and visits, with a focus on safety, courtesy and reliable logging of journeys.

Responsibilities include vehicle checks, fuelling, cleaning, logging each journey, liaising with the trip bookings team and reporting defects promptly, while adhering to health and safety policies and the college code of practice.

Qualifications

• D1 on driving licence is essential.
• MIDAS training is available if needed.
• Clean driving licence is required.
• Disclosure & Barring Service check is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport minibus passengers including students.
• Carry out regular vehicle checks, fuelling and cleaning.
• Log each journey and report defects immediately.
• Coordinate with trip bookings staff and adhere to safety rules.
• Follow the college Code of Practice on Safe Use of Minibuses.
