Job summary

Lancashire County Council is seeking a Casual Cleaning Operative to cover cleaning duties in the Burnley area. A flexible approach to work is required to cover sickness, holidays or additional service demands.

Duties include damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming and toilet cleaning. Prior cleaning experience is desirable but full training and ongoing support will be provided. Providing your own transport is an advantage, but not essential.

About The Role

The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council are looking to recruit a Casual Cleaning Operative who is required to carry out cleaning duties in the Burnley area.

A flexible approach to work is required, as the successful candidate would be required to cover sickness, holidays or provide support to meet additional service demands.Providing your own transport is an advantage, but not essential.

The Facilities Management team is responsible for some of the most prestigious and iconic buildings in Lancashire.These buildings provide essential services to the community and vulnerable people. Keeping these buildings clean is essential to everyone who use these facilities

High standards of cleanliness are expected, and prior experience is desirable; however full training and ongoing support will be provided.
