Job summary

Lancashire County Council's Facilities Management team is seeking a Casual Cleaning Operative to join the Burnley area. You will perform general cleaning tasks across designated sites, maintaining high standards of cleanliness for community buildings.

Applicants should be flexible to cover sickness, holidays and extra service demands. Prior cleaning experience is desirable, but full training and ongoing support will be provided. A Foundation Living Wage is offered for this post.

Qualifications

• High standards of cleanliness are expected.
• Prior cleaning experience is desirable; however full training and ongoing support will be provided.
• Providing your own transport is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning duties in the Burnley area, including damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming and toilet cleaning.
• Cover sickness, holidays or provide support to meet additional service demands.
• Work flexibly across Monday–Sunday as required.
