Job summary

Rochdale Council is seeking conscientious and reliable casual cleaners to join our Facilities Management team. You will work in schools and public buildings across the Borough, with shifts 6:30am-8:30am and 3:30pm-6:30pm, Monday to Friday, possibly weekends.

External candidates must be Rochdale residents within the Borough, subject to enhanced DBS and background checks. General cleaning duties include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and sanitizing touch areas.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in a similar role.

Job description

External candidates applying for this role must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the Borough of Rochdale (i.e where the household pays council tax to Rochdale Borough Council).

Facilities Management are looking to recruit conscientious and reliable staff to join our friendly team of casual cleaners to work in our Schools and Public Buildings throughout the Borough for short and long-term across your preferred area. (Rochdale, Middleton, Heywood, and Littleborough).

Hours are usually depending on the placements - and are varying shifts between the hours of 6.30am - 8.30am & 3.30pm - 6.30pm Monday to Friday and may include some weekends.

£13.45 PER HOUR

General cleaning duties to include: vacuuming, brush sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, buffing, toilet cleaning and sanitizing touch areas.

Previous Experience is required in a simlar field.
