Job Vacancy: Casual School/Nursery Cleaners

If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Join one of our many teams of cleaners in Schools or Nurseries. We have casual cleaner vacancies in Cupar and St Andrews. Casual staff may be asked to work any day of the week, covering for annual leave and absences as required. Hours are mainly between 3pm – 8pm, Monday to Friday.

You will earn a competitive rate of pay and have access to a range of benefits, including:

• We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £12.00 per hour for this post, with extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
• Pay is issued every 4 weeks in arrears for casual posts.

The Person

You will be required to attend Induction Training before starting in the role.

Before appointment, you must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
