Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Casual Driver to join its UK delivery network. You will deliver alcoholic products to RDCs, retail outlets, and warehouse locations across the UK, working a flexible weekly roster with zero hours.

You must hold a UK HGV Class 1 CE licence, a DCPC Card and a Digital Tachograph Card, and be safety-minded, reliable, and customer-focused. Join a team that values professionalism and efficiency on demanding routes.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE licence and be ready to drive across the UK.
• Possess a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Demonstrate ability to work to deadlines and stay efficient.
• Be a confident, polite, and collaborative team player.
• Have excellent geographical knowledge for route navigation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver alcoholic products from customer sites to RDCs, retail outlets, and warehouses UK-wide.
• Complete out-and-back delivery routes and plan journeys to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide high standards of customer service, communicating professionally with customers in person and on the phone.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured with straps or nets as needed to prevent movement.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks using company phone to maintain safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular contact with the transport team with progress updates.
