Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd. is seeking a Class 1 Casual Driver in the United Kingdom. The role involves delivering fresh milk on rural and motorway routes, with a focus on timely deliveries and safety.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• A minimum of 6 months' HGV driving experience.
• Milk tanker experience would be an advantage, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Thrive under deadlines and work efficiently.
• Be a confident, polite, and collaborative team player with good route knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh milk to the dairy, ensuring accuracy and care.
• Drive via rural routes and motorways, meeting delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely deliveries and collections to meet client requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks using the company phone.
• Stay in regular contact with the transport team and update progress.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay aligned with industry standards.
