Job summary

Relais & Chateaux at Thornbury Castle seeks a Kitchen Porter - Kitchen Assistant to join our 5* hotel team. You will work in a historic castle kitchen, supporting operations and helping create memorable experiences for our guests.

This 40-hour-per-week role offers a pay rate of £12.71 per hour, with evening and weekend shifts. Training, meals on duty, and staff discounts are provided.

Qualifications

• Basic vegetable preparation under supervision
• Follow Health and Safety and COSHH procedures

Responsibilities

• Use the industrial dishwashers to clean crockery and chefs’ utensils
• Clean kitchen areas following Food Safety and COSHH guidelines
• Basic preparation of vegetables under supervision of senior chefs
• Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures
• Support the team and help colleagues where needed
