Job summary

Thornbury Castle is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our 5* hotel team. You will support the kitchen operation, clean dishes, and help with basic prep under supervision. Evening and weekend shifts are included.

The role offers a zero hours contract with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour and opportunities for training and staff discounts. A calm, team‑minded individual will thrive in our busy, professional environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use industrial dishwashers to clean crockery and utensils.
• Clean kitchen areas following Food Safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Basic preparation of vegetables under supervision of senior chefs.
• Follow Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures.
• Support the team and help colleagues where needed.
