Our friendly Retail team is looking for a new team member! If you enjoy working in a customer-focused environment and are driven by providing excellent customer service within a diverse team, then this is the role for you.

Ria is a leading money transfer company that provides fast and secure international transfers of funds for businesses and individuals. Our Retail team is committed to providing trustworthy, easy, and pleasant experiences for our customers.

You will join a friendly team where you will contribute to the success of the store. You need excellent communication skills to deal with our diverse customer base, displaying friendliness, a positive attitude, resolving problems, and handling customers’ money confidently in a fast-paced environment.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Interacting face-to-face with customers to process Ria’s products such as money transfers, money orders, and foreign currency transactions.
• Verifying or entering customer information accurately into our systems.
• Assisting customers with inquiries about services, cancellations, or other Ria locations.
• Identifying problems or complaints and proposing solutions or escalating to management.
• Staying updated on Ria’s products, services, and policies.
• Balancing cash register and preparing cash for bank deposit.
• Maintaining daily transaction records.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and skills:

• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
• Cash handling experience is highly preferred.
• A valid work permit is required.
• Positive attitude and effective communication skills essential for teamwork and customer service.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates who speak Spanish or Portuguese.
