Job summary

Travelex is seeking a Cash Processing Assistant at Gatwick Airport on a permanent, full-time basis. The role runs 37.5 hours per week, with shifts between 7am and 3pm, 5 days out of 7. The base salary is £13 per hour, with an opportunity to earn a monthly bonus for hitting targets.

You will reconcile banking for customers at the airport, deliver strong customer service, and work as part of a team to ensure accuracy and timely processing in a fast-paced environment.

As a Cash Processing Assistant, you deliver exceptional customer service, whilst maximizing productivity.

In a busy environment, Cash Processing Assistants work as part of a team alongside Team Managers, ensuring the business runs smoothly.

Cash Processing Assistants reconcile banking from our customers within the airport, working to achieve accuracy as well as meet tight deadlines, an incentive scheme rewards their efforts.

The role suits confident communicators, who are enthusiastic and motivated by interaction with people.

Applicants will ideally have customer service, reconciliation & cash handling experience, excellent communication skills, is able to use computers, be accurate with a keen eye for detail, flexible and reliable.

Successful candidates must pass a written test, be able to provide a full 5-year checkable history, plus pass credit and criminal record checks.

To succeed as a Cash Processing Assistant, you must be:
