Job summary

Genuit Group in Doncaster is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join the finance team. You will manage customer accounts, monitor aged debt, and drive timely payments while supporting month-end processes and internal audits.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail and a proactive, analytical approach. Experience with IFS is helpful; manufacturing exposure is a plus. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with a benefits package including pension and life assurance.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade A–C or equivalent.
• Previous credit control experience is essential.
• Experience with IFS accounting software is advantageous.
• Strong IT skills including Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts with timely payments.
• Chase aged debt and minimise bad debt.
• Maintain accurate customer master data and invoicing records.
• Support monthly cash collection targets and reporting.
• Handle queries and issue credit notes or refusals as needed.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales and Transport teams.
