Job summary

Zenith Group in Leeds is seeking a Cash and Funding Operations Manager to join the Group Finance team with hybrid working. Lead funding operations, cash allocation, reconciliations and controls to ensure financial integrity and operational excellence.

You’ll collaborate with funders, banking partners and auditors, drive KPIs, and implement improvements to support growth and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational finance, cash management or shared services teams.
• Proven ability to coach and develop staff and manage performance.
• Strong understanding of cash allocation, reconciliations and banking processes.
• Experience with operational metrics, service levels and quality standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

We are currently looking for a Cash and Funding Operations Manager to join our Group Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a key operational finance function responsible for cash management, funding operations, reconciliations and financial controls. Based in Leeds with hybrid working, the role will play a critical part in ensuring operational excellence, protecting financial integrity and supporting Zenith's continued growth.

You'll join a collaborative finance team that works closely with operational leaders, funding partners, banking partners, auditors and business change teams. Together, they deliver high-quality financial operations that support business performance, compliance and customer service.

What's the Role

• Lead and develop the Cash & Funding Operations team, creating a high-performance and customer-focused culture
• Manage funding operations, cash allocation, bank reconciliations and associated finance processes
• Maintain robust controls and governance to protect Zenith's cash position and financial integrity
• Drive operational performance through KPIs, service levels and quality measures
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities and operational efficiencies
• Build strong relationships with funders, banking partners and internal stakeholders
• Support month-end processes, reporting activities and audit requirements

What Can You Offer

• Significant experience leading operational finance, cash management, funding operations or shared services teams
• Proven people leadership experience including coaching, development and performance management
