Job summary

Zenith Group in Altrincham is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team. Based in Altrincham with agile working arrangements and Leeds collaboration, you will provide financial insight to support key commercial decisions.

You will play a pivotal role in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and performance reporting while helping the business meet its long-term objectives. The role offers development opportunities and exposure across the Commercial division.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance role, ideally within a multi‑divisional organisation.
• Proven experience of financial business partnering and influencing business decisions.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Ability to build relationships and influence a range of stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Adaptability, resilience and confidence working in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge and decision support.
• Support the delivery of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and long‑term strategic plans.
• Monitor financial performance and provide analysis of results, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare financial content for executive board reporting, including commentary and updates.
• Support robust planning assumptions and ensure targets are challenging yet achievable.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and governance.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the wider Finance function.

You'll play an important role in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and performance reporting while helping the business achieve its long‑term objectives.

You'll be part of a collaborative Commercial Finance team that works closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand performance, identify opportunities and support informed business decisions. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape processes, influence outcomes and add real value across the Commercial division.

What's the Role

• Partner with Commercial stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge and decision support
