Job summary

Loomis UK is hiring for a Cash and Coin Processor at the Birmingham Cash Centre. The role involves counting, recording, and reconciling customer deposits using high-speed processing machines. You will work 40 hours per week on afternoon or night shifts, including weekends, with a £12.81 hourly rate plus a 10% shift allowance for 18:00–22:00.

This is a temporary 6-month contract with potential for review. The team values integrity and reliability, and the role requires compliance with security

Qualifications

• Must pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks.
• Verifiable 5-year employment/unemployment/educational history.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform some heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Count, record and reconcile customer deposits according to requirements.
• Meet daily targets while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Adhere to security and compliance procedures and identify discrepancies.
• Work as part of a team in a high-speed processing environment.
