Job summary

Catch22's STEPS service in West Mercia provides integrated support for young people affected by CSE and CCE across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Worcestershire. The role requires direct specialist knowledge of risk factors and the ability to engage vulnerable young people one-to-one within a case management framework.

Qualifications

• Direct specialist knowledge of risk factors leading to exploitation and addressing them.
• Ability to engage vulnerable young people one-to-one within a case management model.
• Experience working in multi‑agency safeguarding partnerships with local authorities.
• Experience writing reports showing impact of work with young people.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain relationships with referring agencies to ensure referrals are received.
• Manage a caseload with assessments, gather information for intervention plans within timescales.
• Plan and deliver interventions in line with Catch22 policies and local guidance.
• Develop materials and deliver activities to build resilience and safety for young people.
• Work with Local Authorities and Local Safeguarding Children Boards to establish partnerships.
• Record interventions and multi‑agency correspondence in the required MIS.
• Complete monitoring information to support feedback reports to funders and stakeholders.
• Maintain knowledge of risk factors and apply appropriate interventions within a 1:1 setting.
