Description: Case Manager Junior Underwriter Bridging Lender Central London Opportunity for a Case Manager to develop into an Underwriter

As a Case Manager / Junior Underwriter, you will be at the heart of our client's operations.

You will handle the day-to-day management of bridging finance applications, ensuring clients receive excellent service from start to finish.

You will collaborate closely with brokers, underwriters, solicitors, and clients to ensure smooth processes.

We seek someone capable of maintaining momentum, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach.

Experience required:

Ideally, you have prior experience as a Case Manager in bridging finance or a related field, with a good understanding of the process and regulations. Knowledge of bridging finance specifics is a plus.

The Role:

• Managing your own portfolio of bridging finance cases, ensuring smooth progression from inquiry to completion, maintaining communication with all parties involved.
• Acting as the main contact point, maintaining regular communication with brokers, underwriters, solicitors, and surveyors.
• Reviewing and verifying client documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness before underwriting and completion.
• Leading problem-solving efforts if issues arise, keeping cases on track, and informing all parties.
• Providing excellent customer service by updating brokers and clients on application progress and ensuring a smooth experience.
• Collecting, verifying, and managing documentation for loan applications.
• Performing preliminary creditworthiness analyses and property valuations.
• Supporting underwriters in preparing and presenting loan cases for approval.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies throughout the underwriting process.
• Organizing valuation instructions, inspections, reports, invoice payments, and case file maintenance.
• Performing essential checks such as Land Registry, AML, KYC, and other relevant verifications for new cases.
