We are seeking a proactive and analytical individual to join the Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) within Lincolnshire Police. This is a rewarding opportunity to support investigations into crime, corruption, misconduct and disciplinary matters, helping to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and ethical behaviour across the organisation.
Working within the Professional Standards Department, you will play a key role in developing intelligence, gathering evidence and supporting Investigating Officers to ensure thorough, fair and proportionate investigations.
You will support a wide range of investigative activities, including researching and developing intelligence from multiple sources, analysing information to identify patterns and trends, and maintaining accurate case records throughout investigations.
The role involves preparing detailed reports, statements and case papers for misconduct proceedings, acting as a key point of contact for intelligence development and misconduct investigations, and assisting with the administration of hearings and investigative processes. You will also build strong relationships with colleagues and partner organisations, provide procedural advice, and contribute to training, organisational learning and the delivery of Anti-Corruption Unit priorities.
Professional standards and public trust are at the heart of effective policing. By supporting investigations into misconduct, corruption and unethical behaviour, you will help protect the integrity of Lincolnshire Police and ensure that the highest standards of conduct are maintained across the organisation.
Your work will directly contribute to identifying learning opportunities, improving professional practice and reinforcing public confidence in policing.
We are looking for an individual with excellent research, analytical and organisational skills, alongside a strong aptitude for technology and information systems. You will be confident working with a variety of data sources, have experience producing accurate reports and documentation, and be able to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
The successful candidate will be an effective communicator who can build positive working relationships, work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, and demonstrate a commitment to the principles and behaviours set out within the Code of Ethics. Attention to detail, integrity, sound judgement and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
