Job summary

Dovetail and Slate in West London is seeking an experienced Carpenter or Joiner to support lecturers by preparing and delivering practical lessons, and to help learners develop carpentry skills. You’ll maintain workshops, tools and equipment to a high standard, supervise safe workshop use, and encourage learners to progress toward further study, employment or apprenticeships.

• Relevant industry experience within carpentry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and support learners.
• Good organisational and IT skills.
• A strong understanding of workshop health and safety.
• Previous teaching experience is not essential; key is industry knowledge and ability to support learners.

Carpentry Technician

Location: West London

Salary: £26,020 - £30,912 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Are you an experienced Carpenter or Joiner looking for a role where you can use your industry skills to support the next generation of tradespeople?

The Role
