The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated trade professional or educator to join a expanding Construction & Building Services department. You will design and deliver engaging Carpentry courses across both practical workshop settings and theoretical classroom environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach carpentry modules across various learner levels, blending practical skills training with theoretical knowledge.
  • Provide ongoing tutorial support and guidance to students throughout their learning journey.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous growth of the department.
  • Complete necessary course administration, marking, and learner progress tracking.
Requirements
  • Hands-on industry experience within the carpentry and construction sector.
  • Minimum Level 2 vocational qualification in Carpentry (or equivalent trade qualification).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage learners.
  • Teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one (desirable).
