Job summary

London South East Colleges (LSEC) is seeking an experienced Skills Coach – Carpentry to join our team. You will support and teach students from Level 1 to Level 3, working with the Curriculum Manager to expand the department and deliver high-quality education for every learner.

With industry experience, you will inspire the next generation of carpenters and promote courses across the Carpentry curriculum, joining marketing events and sharing your carpenter expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven teaching experience or relevant industry background.
• Minimum Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
• Qualified FE teacher (or willingness to work towards this).

Responsibilities

• Support and teach students from Level 1 to Level 3.
• Work with Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the Carpentry department.
• Promote Carpentry courses and represent the college at events.
