Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is recruiting on behalf of a leading Further Education provider in Wolverhampton for a Carpentry Lecturer. The role is full‑time and temporary, starting September, delivering Carpentry and Joinery teaching to learners.

You will bring strong industry experience, effective communication and a commitment to safe, inclusive learning. A teaching qualification is desirable or willingness to work towards one.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements include relevant qualifications in Carpentry or a related discipline.
• Strong industry experience within Carpentry and Joinery sector.
• Teaching, training or assessing experience is desirable.
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE or Certificate in Education desirable, or willingness to work towards one.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Are you an experienced Carpentry professional looking to inspire the next generation of tradespeople? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Further Education provider in Wolverhampton for a Carpentry Lecturer to join their team on a full-time temporary basis starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for an industry specialist or experienced lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and training to learners studying Carpentry and Joinery programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support students in developing their practical skills, knowledge and industry awareness.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Carpentry or a related discipline.
• Strong industry experience within the Carpentry and Joinery sector.
• Previous teaching, training or assessing experience is desirable.
• A recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE, Certificate in Education or equivalent is desirable, or a willingness to work towards one where applicable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
