Job summary

Ideal candidates have proven carpentry experience and hold an A1 assessor's award (level 3) plus a TAQWA level 4 IQA qualification. A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one) is required, with DBS check for safeguarding

About The Role

We are looking for passionate, knowledgeable individuals to join as an hourly paid support in carpentry. Whether you're an experienced educator, a working professional seeking a new challenge, or someone with specialist industry knowledge, there’s a place for you at CCC.

As An Hourly-paid Support, You Will

About The Team

You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team of colleagues who are committed to excellence in teaching and learning. The team has a strong collaborative culture, sharing best practice and innovative approaches to help every student thrive.

About You
  • Proven experience in carpentry
  • Hold an A1 assessor's award (level 3) and a TAQWA level 4 IQA qualification to carry out IQA duties across sites and ideally have experience in setting up the End Point assessments for the carpentry apprentices.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to inclusive, learner-focused teaching
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or a willingness to achieve one)
  • You should be confident in delivering to a diverse range of learners and ready to inspire them to achieve their full potential.
