Job summary

The Hyde Group is seeking a hands-on Carpenter (Repairs Specialist) to cover Southampton and surrounding areas. You will perform day-to-day repairs in Hyde homes, completing carpentry tasks and general maintenance with a customer‑focused approach.

You’ll work independently and with other trades when needed, prioritising safety and quality. A full UK driving licence and UPVC skills are required.

Qualifications

• Solid experience across multiple trades, especially carpentry.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Experience working with UPVC is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-trade repairs including carpentry and general maintenance.
• Fix day-to-day issues such as doors, kitchens, bathrooms, leaks, walls and flooring.
• Complete patch plastering, minor tiling, painting and finishing works.
