Job summary

WPS is seeking a Carpenter Multi Trader based from Walton-on-Thames to join the Responsive Maintenance division, focusing on VOID properties to restore homes for new residents.

You will carry out a range of carpentry and multi-trade tasks, work independently or with colleagues, and complete daily sheets. A Full UK driving licence is essential, and a commitment to high workmanship and safety is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ L2 in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven carpentry and multi-trade experience, preferably in voids or social housing.
• Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out repair, renewal, and reinstatement works within void properties.
• Completing a variety of carpentry and multi-trade tasks to prepare homes for re‑let.

WPS has an exciting opportunity for a Carpenter Multi Trader to join our Responsive Maintenance division, working specifically on VOID properties as part of a busy social housing contract. Based from our Walton-on-Thames office, you'll help bring empty homes back to a high standard for new residents.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carrying out repair, renewal, and reinstatement works within void properties.
• Completing a variety of carpentry and multi-trade tasks to prepare homes for re‑let.
• Advising your Supervisor when additional trades are required.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence is essential.

• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
