Job summary

Wates in Skelmersdale is seeking a Multi Skilled Joiner to join our WPSteam delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services to social housing clients. You will perform responsive repair work across properties, ensuring first-time fixes and excellent customer service on every visit.

The role requires minimum NVQ Level 2 in Joinery/Carpentry, a Full UK driving licence, and the ability to work across multiple trades, including basic plumbing, plastering or tiling.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Joinery/Carpentry (essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Experience delivering responsive social housing maintenance.
• Strong multitrade ability (e.g., basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling) is highly desirable.
• Ability to problem-solve, work independently, and communicate well with tenants and colleagues.

Responsibilities
