Job summary

Nuco Solutions Ltd is recruiting an experienced carpenter multi to join a social housing repairs and maintenance team covering Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. You will work across occupied properties, carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance, and you may perform reactive plumbing repairs as part of a multi-trade role.

The role requires proven carpentry experience, strong customer service skills, a full UK driving licence, and relevant plumbing qualifications such as NVQ

• Full UK driving licence and good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Carrying out carpenter multi trade repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.
• Working within occupied residential properties and dealing professionally with residents.
• Completing reactive plumbing repairs and planned maintenance.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Repairs to taps, toilets, sinks, baths, valves, pipework and associated plumbing systems.
• Carrying out minor installation and replacement works.
• Completing works to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Recording completed works and reporting any additional requirements.
• Maintaining excellent customer service when dealing with residents.
• Working safely and in accordance with company procedures and health & safety requirements.

The Role

Requirements

• Able to work independently and manage a daily workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Relevant plumbing qualification such as NVQ Level 2 preferred.
