Job summary

Think Recruitment are seeking a Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative to carry out repairs in tenanted properties in Tamworth and surrounding areas. A daily rate of £200 applies, with duties covering carpentry repairs, door/frame works, and related maintenance tasks.

Must have a Blue CSCS Card, own van preferred, and proven ability across carpentry and maintenance trades. Excellent customer service and reliability are essential for successful tenancy interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience as Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative with repairs in tenanted properties.
• Valid Blue CSCS Card required.
• Own van is preferred.
• Practical ability across carpentry and related maintenance trades.
• Good customer service and reliable approach.

Responsibilities

• Complete responsive carpentry repairs within occupied homes.
• Repair and replace doors, frames, locks, handles, skirting boards and other timber fixtures.
• Carry out repairs to kitchen units, worktops and flooring.
• Undertake associated multi-trade tasks, including basic plumbing, patch plastering and making good.
• Identify faults and complete repairs to a high standard.
• Communicate professionally with tenants and work considerately in their homes.
• Maintain safe, tidy work areas and follow health and safety procedures.

Think Recruitment are working with a repairs and maintenance contractor looking for an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative to carry out repairs within tenanted properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete responsive carpentry repairs within occupied homes.
