Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking a Carpenter Multi-Trade in Harrow to join a housing contractor, delivering carpentry tasks, general maintenance, and reactive/planned repairs in occupied and void properties.

You will work Monday to Friday, with a driving licence, NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry, asbestos awareness, and a basic DBS check. A company vehicle, fuel card, and uniform are provided, plus overtime and on-call opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry is essential.
• Asbestos awareness (UKATA or IATP) required.
• Basic DBS Check required.
• Full UK Driving Licence (manual) required.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, and door/window installations.
• Completing general maintenance work such as basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, and painting.
• Delivering both reactive and planned maintenance in occupied and void properties.
• Operating and maintaining tools and equipment responsibly.
• Providing excellent customer service to tenants and housing association representatives.
• Using a handheld PDA to receive and update job information and keep records up to date.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: £23.00 - £24.00 per hour

We have an opportunity for an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trade to join a growing housing contractor, working in partnership with Harrow Council and covering Harrow, Stanmore, Edgware, and Northolt.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, and door/window installations.
• Completing general maintenance work such as basic plumbing, tiling, plastering, and painting.
• Delivering both reactive and planned maintenance in occupied and void properties.
• Operating and maintaining tools and equipment responsibly.
• Providing excellent customer service to tenants and housing association representatives.
• Using an electronic hand held PDA device to receive and update job information, ensuring timely and accurate records of completed work.

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry (essential)
