Job summary

ARC Group is seeking a reliable Multi-Trade Carpenter to join a client—an established contractor specialising in social housing maintenance and repairs. The role covers maintenance and repair work in occupied and void properties, including carpentry, door hanging, locks, skirting, kitchen repairs, basic plumbing, patch plastering, painting and decorating, and general multi-trade tasks.

You will be carrying out a range of duties across Grantham and Melton Mowbray, emphasising quality workmanship

Qualifications

Experience in multi-trade carpentry within social housing or similar environments.
Proven ability to carry out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry and related repairs.
Reliable, self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance and repair works in occupied and void properties.
Perform 1st and 2nd fix carpentry tasks, hang doors, fit locks, skirting boards and kitchen repairs.
Carry out basic plumbing, patch plastering, painting and decorating.
Engage in general property maintenance and multi-trade repairs.
