Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Carpenter Multi Trade Operative to work in the Gloucester area. The role covers maintenance in social housing properties, mainly carpentry, with capability in other trades when needed.

You will interact with customers professionally and drive the company van to site, following a defined spec and reporting to a supervisor. The position is temp-to-perm, typically 12 weeks, with 40 hours per week, a van and fuel card, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Good multi-trade experience.
• Carpentry qualification or 10 years.
• DBS – will be completed prior to start.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of maintenance work in properties, mainly carpentry but you will need to do other trades to a good level as well.
• Dealing with customers, being polite and professional.
• Driving a company van safely and responsibly.
• Following a spec to complete works.
• Reporting to your Supervisor.
