We’re looking for a Multi-skilled Carpenter to join our Damp and Mould Team! Contractually based out of Basingstoke, you’ll be working around the North Hampshire area. This is a full-time, permanent role, working 39 hours per week and will include participation in the on-call rota.

Here’s the facts about the role:

As a multi-skilled carpenter in our damp & mould team, you’ll carry out high-quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments in our properties. This’ll mostly involve floor laying and carpentry, but you’ll also perform other skilled works including tiling, plastering, decorating, and basic plumbing. The role involves some light admin duties and the use of an electronic handheld device.

You must be qualified to NVQ level 3 in carpentry (or equivalent) and provide proof of qualifications at interview. Qualified by experience candidates may also be considered. Demonstrable experience in a multi-skilled role is essential.

Due to the nature of this position, the job holder must be capable of:

• Working at heights
• Manual handling and lifting heavy and bulky items
• A high degree of mobility, including walking, lifting, loading, and unloading vehicles

A full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year) is required to drive our vans when necessary. Offers are subject to satisfactory driving licence and DBS checks.
