Job summary

Carpenter / Locksmith

Location: HMP Wormwood Scrubs, Du Cane Rd, London W12 0AE

Salary: £39,195.77 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full time

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Carpenter inc Locksmith to join our team at HMP Wormwood Scrubs, a Category B men's local prison, located in the White City area of Hammersmith and Fulham.

As a Carpenter inc Locksmith you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Carpenter with a combination of:

• Substantiated experience in a similar role

Future Plans.

GFSL has been notified by it's shareholder (MOJ) that the provision of FM Services will in future be delivered by the private sector. This means that following a successful procurement process, GFSL's services will complete transfer to a private sector provider/providers no sooner than August 2027.
