Job summary

Skilled Careers in the United Kingdom is seeking a Carpenter / Multi-Trade Operative to join a responsive repairs team delivering social housing maintenance.

You will carry out first and second fix carpentry, install doors and timber fittings, and handle basic plumbing, tiling, plastering and decorating. You’ll work in tenants’ homes, report via mobile, and ensure work is safe and compliant. A full UK driving licence is essential, with relevant trade qualifications desirable but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter, ideally within social housing, property maintenance, or repairs.
• Competent in a range of additional trades.
• Ready to make a real difference in people’s homes and communities.
