Howells Solutions Limited is recruiting a Carpenter for a social housing maintenance role in Dartford. The position focuses on routine property maintenance across multiple properties, ensuring quality workmanship and customer service. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in social housing or similar environment.
• Relevant trade qualifications in carpentry or related field; CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness cert are desirable.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Experience using a PDA and job scheduling software.
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check with no unspent convictions.
• Full UK driving licence.

Social Housing - Reactive Maintenance

Dartford

£38,000 - £40,000 + van & fuel card

We are working with a leading Repairs and Maintenance Contractor within the Social Housing sector to recruit a Carpenter to join their team in Dartford.

As an operative within the Social Housing sector, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and improvement of properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality and in compliance with H&S and relevant regulations. Your role will focus on carrying out routine property maintenance, completing multiple jobs per day, ensuring a best in class standard of customer service is provided to the residents and their homes in which you're working.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in social housing or similar environment. Knowledge of NHF Sors desirable
• Relevant trade qualifications in plumbing, carpentry, or another related field, CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness cert
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Experience using a PDA, good IT skills with experience using job scheduling software
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check - with no unspent criminal convictions
• Full, UK, manual driving license
