Job summary

Skilled Careers in Birmingham is seeking an experienced carpenter for social housing works. You will carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance in council and social housing properties, focusing on doors, frames, skirting, flooring, kitchens and other timber fixtures.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry, asbestos awareness, a clean DBS, a licence with fewer than six penalty points, and social housing experience. We offer van and fuel card, uniform and PPE, ongoing work and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive repair jobs and complete work to a high standard.
• Ensure properties are safe, secure and meet housing standards.
• Liaise with tenants and other trades when required.
