Job summary

Construction is currently recruiting for 2 experienced Carpenters to join a long-term residential project in Billingshurst (RH14).

The role will involve carrying out 1st and 2nd Fix Carpentry work, with ongoing opportunities available for the right candidates.

Carry out 1st and 2nd Fix Carpentry on a residential site, install doors, frames, skirting, architraves, flooring and other timber elements, reading drawings and site specs, while keeping safety a priority.

Qualifications

• Own tools and PPE required.
• Proven experience as a Carpenter.
• Experience with 1st and 2nd Fix Carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 1st and 2nd Fix Carpentry on a residential project.
• Install doors, frames, skirting, architraves, flooring and other timber elements.
• Read and work from drawings and site specifications.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within timescales.
• Maintain a safe, tidy site and follow health & safety procedures.

• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and follow all site health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid Blue CSCS Card
• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Experience with both 1st and 2nd Fix Carpentry
• Own tools and full PPE
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
