Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Carpenter for residential projects in and around Lancing. Immediate start available for the right candidate, with ongoing, long-term work and weekly pay.

Role involves 2nd fix carpentry tasks on site, reading drawings, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Must have Blue CSCS card, own tools, and transport; driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in 2nd fix carpentry.
• Valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card.
• Own tools.
• Own transport and full UK driving licence preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Hanging internal doors.
• Fitting skirting boards and architraves.
• Installing ironmongery.
• Fitting kitchens and other internal joinery.
• Completing all aspects of 2nd fix carpentry to a high standard.
• Reading and working from drawings.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Working independently and as part of a professional team.
