Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive carpentry repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.
• Respond to repair orders in tenants' homes and communal areas.
• Repair and replace doors, frames, locks, architraves, skirting boards and flooring.
• Carry out repairs to kitchens, cupboards, worktops and units.
• Repair or replace wooden window components and make good around frames.
• Repair staircases, handrails, banisters and timber structures.
• Board up damaged doors/windows following break-ins, vandalism or emergencies.

Carpenter required for a leading Housing Association in Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced Carpenter looking for long-term stability, excellent benefits and the opportunity to work across a well-established social housing contract.

The Role

As a Carpenter working across Bedfordshire, you'll be responsible for carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance across occupied and void social housing properties.
