Avante Care & Support Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Amherst Court, Chatham. You will help prepare meals, set tables, serve residents and assist with cleaning and hygiene in a care-home environment.

Experience with food hygiene is a plus; you will work as part of a compassionate team dedicated to supporting older adults in residential care. Regular DBS checks and uniforms are provided, with flexible shifts and opportunities for progression.

• Experience or interest in food hygiene and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vegetables, fruits and assist with meal preparation.
• Set tables, serve meals and assist with clean-up.
• Clean kitchen equipment and utensils; maintain hygiene standards.
• Ensure kitchen areas are clean and food is prepared safely; comply with health and safety regulations and training.
